u can store in the blocking solution.. at 2-8 deg for quite long!!

you could have the membrane in blocking or simply in TBS-tween for long periods at 4C. I have also dried the membrane and had it between filter paper for weeks and then when required rehydrated the membrane and completed the western.

wash NC in destilled water, dry, and seal in plasitc bags under vacuum; store at -20° to -80°C

well for few days in blocking solution (without milk of course). If it's for longer period, dry and store at -20° or -80°C.

I'm using TBST with NaAzide to prevent contamination with fungi or bacteria. storage at 4 °C.
BUT be careful ! NaAzide is very toxic!
