SAP incubation time - how long do you incubate for?? (Dec/11/2007 )

So here's the thing, when I was taught ligations my boss always told me to SAP treat my vector overnight at 37C (and heat inactivate in the morning). This has worked absolutely fine for me, several successful ligations with this method.

Now we have a "know it all" student who keeps telling me this is too long (and from the investigations I have been doing, I can see that most people use much shorter times- as little as 15mins).

I try telling him that it works for me so does it really matter?? Its not like we make him do it that way, its entirely his choice to perform this step however he sees fit.....

So I was just wondering what works for you guys??
