overlap extension pcr - (Nov/22/2007 )

hi all, I am the new in the field of science ...I am doing the overlap pcr..I first extracted the cDNA from the huh7 cell line that expresses little protein of my interest..I am tryin to get the full length but failed...may b the overlap is so high ..protein is thrombospondin 1...hoping to get reply on how to get the full length cdna..

Can u expend a little about overlap PCR please?
