What is the best way to align multiple DNA sequences? - (Nov/19/2007 )

I have 10 sequenced plasmid inserts. These inserts are random parts of the same gene. How can I align all 10 of them at the same time to see where they overlap? Thanks!

Do you have the 'lasergene navigator' series of software? (I think that's what it's called). I have used it to align multiple sequences. In fact, I use it for everything biggrin.gif

you can use 'sequencher' to do that. A free demo version is available to try out.
