P/C/I extraction of plasmid after digestion - (Nov/18/2007 )

Hi there,

is it possible to isolate linearized plasmid DNA with the phenol/cholorform method directly out of the digestion mix (incl. DNA, buffer, restriction enzyme)?

yes, it is possible, why not? but make sure that your plasmid is linearized, otherwise u will isolate uncut plasmid too.
