Clontech discontinued his pEGFP-N1
they still have pAcGFP1-N1 to N3 and C system for living color

anyone knows why they stoped that?

any defects in his pEGFP-N1?

Not really, it seems to be more about the legal site of things. I heard something about their patent for that series of vector has run out or so. So they have to get out another series, slightly different, to make money.
