Predicting kDa based on nucleic acid seq? - (May/05/2004 )

Is there a way to predict the kDa of a protein based on its nucleic acid sequence? I've epitope tagged a (7kb nt) protein and am about to do a western but would like to get an idea of what % gel I should run to seperate it.
