RNA and DNA extraction and PCR control - (Apr/20/2004 )

Hello!
I´m about to setup a diagnostic real-time PCR for detection of RNA and DNA viruses. Now I´m looking for suitable internal control for RNA and DNA extraction and PCR as well. The sample material will be tissue, blood or serum. Do you have any suggestion?

The best control will be blood/serum sample spiked with various dilutions of viral DNA/RNA and processed the way you would process your samples.
