Immunoprecipitation of tubulin from brain homogenate - (Aug/28/2007 )

I was wondering if any of you could help me.
I am trying to isolate/purify tubulin from brain homogenate. I was planning to use an immunoprecipitation technique.
I have done a similar procedure to isolate kinesin but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with tubulin and/or could recommend a good anti-tubulin antibody?
If you have any other brain homogenate protocols (not specific to tubulin) used for immunoprecipitation preparations. I would love to take a look.

Are you looking to IP the tubulin or use it in another assay ?

I am looking to IP tubulin.
We are trying to see if the tubulin is modified by our toxin.
