DNA extraction - starting from mouse ear tissue (Aug/22/2007 )

Hi,
I need to extract DNA from a sample of ear from mouse, how should I do it, is it the same as extracting from a homogeneous tissue? I mean this is a chopped up sample from the ear and has different kinds of cells......

suggestions please!

I would guess that it is somewhat similar to mice or rat tail preparation. This can be done by column based kits (e.g. Qiagen DNeasy) or special kits.
