How long do dNTPs stay intact at -20? - (Aug/06/2007 )

Hi there,

I'm just wondering... we have several vials of dNTPs that are 6 months - 2 years old, and have been kept continuously at -20. Does anyone have any experience of whether to expect they would be still ok?

thanks! smile.gif

if they have been kept continiously at -20 Celsisus (without anybody fiddling with them) the dNTPs should still be okay.

yes. Aliquot them is far better for long term use (as you thaw only one).
If they were continuously sotred at -20° and your freezer is not an "automatic defrost" one, i think they're ok smile.gif
