COX-2 positve control for western blotting? - COX-2 positive control for western blotting? (Jul/29/2007 )

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good positive control for COX-2 antibody (for western blotting)?. I have read that it is expressed in MCF-7 cells and so I was thinking of using this to start off with, however if anyone knows of a much better positive control I would greatly appreciate hearing your feedback!
Thanks in advance to all,
Laura

I'm not sure which one is the best but I've heard about LPS stimulated RAW264.7 (mouse macrophage cell line)..

Sigma makes one - Cat#C-0858. It works well for our lab.
