glycerol [c] for dna in gel - (Jul/26/2007 )

What's an adequate glycerol concentration for DNA/loading buffer for an agarose gel? Or what do you usually use?

I use 30% glycerol and works fine.

I think I also have 30% glycerol in my loading buffer.

me too for DNA.
Raise to 50% for RNA.

6X Loading buffer, 30% glycerol; 10X Loading buffer 50% glycerol. A bit lower is not a problem.
