cloning help about pBudCE4.1 - (Jul/25/2007 )

Hi everybody,
I have two proteins I want to clone into pBudCE4.1. It has two multiple cloning sites after CMV and EF-1α promoters. I want to know their transcription efficiency. Is there anyone using this vector?

Which species is the CMV is derived?. Also its important to know which cells are you planning to test them. For eg. CMV doesn't work in neurons but otherwise is a very powerful promoter. murine CMV is a very powerful one. Some human CMV promoters are weak comparatively.

No idea about EF1-alpha promoter.
