In this case I spoke about sensitivity of the optical system: and the LC480 definitely has the best optic (that's why they do not need a rox reference dye) including filters, optic alignment and light source (insensitive laser when using dyes other than FAM). But of course for typical fam assays from abi the sensitivity of the systems as a whole may be almost the same wink.gif
