Produce DNA ladder marker - (Jul/16/2007 )

How about producing DNA ladder marker?

I would like to make a kind of DNA ladder marker, which will just contain my interesting DNA binds and also can detect the concentration of my samples!

How about just buying them, makes its simpler.

Some companies do make them according to your DNA size and different concentrations. I think one of them is NEB. But I always dont think to quantify it using gel. Should use at least the absorbance readings. smile.gif

In some of the ladders (for eg. Lambda Hind3) the bands are also quantified so its useful for concentration estimation.
