Someone are using this methods or know something about this? I would like some information for the fixation of the whole tissues and the coloration. the reference of some litterature are wellcome.
Thank's

We use 4% Paraformaldehyde to fix entire brain tissue.

What do you mean by coloration? Staining?

You could do immunostaining on these tissues but you have to section them first.

yes I would do immunostaining on gut tissues. Where did you find the protocol to fixe the entire tissues?

The protocol was from my old lab. I guess its common to use PFA to fix tissues. We get good preservation of the cytoarchitecture of the brain with PFA. Its useful even if you would like to do immuno EM on these tissues.
