Immunoprecipitation - (Jan/29/2004 )

I can't buy protein-G-sepharose as it's to expensive and I just want to make a little assay... Can anyone tell me how to use protein-A-sepharose plus antimouse antibody as a substitute for protein-A-sepharose?
Thak you very much!

Such scheme as resin-ProtA==noncovalent binded AntimouseAb + IgG after elution is resulted in mixture of AntimouseAb and IgG and additionally You will have low capacity column because a conformational problems of binding. So prepare anti-mouseAB resin , also you can fuse antimouseAb to ProtA-resin but IMHO this is an anti-optimal decision.
