pcr product degradation - (Jun/20/2007 )

for my pcr product of 3-4 kb size, degradation is supposedly happening as i get non specific band at 0.8-0.9kb on rePCR
cn u people out dere help me wid it....

could you explain a little more about your situation.

Why is this 900bp a problem? Can't you simply gel purify your PCR product and cut out only the band that you want (for cloning purposes I assume)
