Protease Cocktail Inhibitor Complete from Roche? - (Jun/02/2007 )

Anyone that ever used these tablets? I am very surprised that they do not specify what is the final concentration in the final solution, they just say you should dissolve one tablet in 2 ml of redistilled water adn that it is enough for 50ml sample. Is that all?? Kind of very unspecific when you want to have more detailed information as to how much to use in your experiment.

Do you know if this cocktail causes bacterial cell lysis?

we have use it routinely for several years (formerly Boehringher Mannheim product); as we have no problems with proteolysis, we think it works; it is true, they do not specify the ingredients but they detail which proteases are blocked to what extent; at the moment they offer free trial packs...

You can ask Roche specially for your application or any doubt.
