where can I access the all known proteins express in brain? - perhapes a database , but where to find it? (May/29/2007 )
Hi, everyone. I wanna find a protein with high abundence in brain, and its property should be discribed in detail. is there some database can give such infermation?

Are you looking at all highly expressed proteins or just one or two proteins suffiicent for you?

Oh，the more the better, only a few is okay.

I donot know of a database. I know that most synaptic protiens are highly expressed in the brain because of all the synapses. I donot know much about them as to which is most highly expressed.
synuclein is supposed to be around 1% of all protiens in the brain. One can find lots of info on synuclein.
CSP-alpha is another such protien which is quite abundant. you could find quite a bit of info about this also.
