beads for compensation controls for FACS - (May/02/2007 )

Hi, all

I am going to use beads for FACS compensations controls. Have anyone used it before? If so, could you please tell me the principle of using beads for compensation. I am very confused about which part of my Ab is actually bound with the beads.

Thanks

For anti-mouse IgK beads, they bound to the kappa light chains of your flurochorme-conjugated mouse IgK antibody. Therefore you cant use these beads for compensation say your antibodies in your panel is a rat anti-human IgK, and also for a mouse anti-human Ig lambda.

hope that helps:)
