how can I dialyze protein through its PI and avoid precipitation? - (Apr/26/2007 )

I need to dialyze my protein (PI=9.12) from buffer A (PH7) to buffer B (pH 10), but I always see precipitation. I know it might be getting through the PI. Is there anyway to avoid it? Thanks, guys.

What is about ionic strength of you pH 10 buffer ( I mean NaCl conc)? What conc of protein do your use for dialysis? If high try to decrease by dilution

Another way - Try to do fast buffer change on Sephadex G 25 column. pH 10 is enough far from pI of protein to cause a problem .
