Reverse Transcriptase PCR - Step by step protocol (Apr/05/2007 )

I'm novice to RT PCR. Where I can get step by step protocol of Reverse Transcriptase PCR protocol. What to do with G3PDH primers? I have my own primers.

Hi,

did you look through the protocols here at protocol online?

Although you have your primers but you'll need reverse transcriptase (RT) enzymes to synthesis cDNA. Normal we buy RT enzyme (RT PCR kit) kit in which protocol to use it is supplied than you can modify it for your own specification.

Get a kit. It is much more easier.

There are alot of reverse transcriptase enzymes around.

But the first trick is to get pure RNA. That's the hardest step in my opinion.

krumelmaster, you have mistaken RT for Real Time instead of reverse transcriptase. I did mistaken for alot of times. wink.gif No offence.

Oooops, just trumped the links... smile.gif

No worries man, last time I mistaken the same thing and my supervisor corrected me.

i think use a kit and follow every single words of from kit manual is easier to get good result
