ATPase assay - malachite green (Mar/27/2007 )

Hi, does anyone have a good protocol for measuring ATPase activity with the malachite green assay? I´d need the concentration of the reagents and the amount needed in the assay. Thanks!!

i tried the malachite green method for phosphate determination a long time ago and don't have the protocol written, but, after also using the marsh method then the chen method, we used the chen (ascorbic acid, molybdate and sulfuric acid) method almost exclusively. if you are interested in either of these methods let me know (i recommend the chen method).

we used it for assaying myosin atpase.
