Non-specific binding in a Sandwich ELISA - (Mar/12/2007 )
Does anyone know how can I eliminate non-specific binding in a Sandwich ELISA to assay for protein in food system?
There are a lot of things you can do. How are your samples prepared?
Samples were extracted 1:10 in 0.01M PBS
polyclonal antibodies were used in the assay
Coating buffer: carbonate buffer
blocking buffer: 0.1% porcine gelatin
First thing to do is make sure your antibodies are from different species.
