How to clone large DNA fragment into small vector! - (Mar/09/2002 )

I am doning the research work about subclone. I have a DNA fragment of 30kb which can be digested by EcoRI into 4 fragments. The lenth of them is 5 to 9 kb.I should insert them into a 2.9kb vector respectively. Because the fragments is too long, it is difficult for me to do the subcloning. Could you help me to find a effective protocol to do this work? Thanks a million!
