small size DNA isolation - (Feb/08/2007 )

Hi,

Has anyone come across isolation of genomic DNA with any DNA extraction kit ? I heard that the extraction kit from Roche is much better quality than Qiagen ( excluding $$$ factor) . My goal is to extract most of the DNA including smaller fragments size (below 200-400bp). Any recommandation ?

yes i have used an kit which was designed by my friend. it works excellently. if u wish i can give u his contact address. they have isolated DNA from very tough leaf samples and it works well. U can contact me on shankarmadhan@yahoo.co.uk
