shRNA lenti vectors - (Feb/06/2007 )

do you have information about inducible shRNA lenti vector with GFP and selection marker? (GFP is less important)

Our lab has an inducible lenti vector from Invitrogen but I have not induced it so far. We did add the GFP to it. It comes with a zeocin selection antibiotic.

We are currently working with a system of lentivirus from Tronolab. The vectors are free and seem to work fine.

In fact, we do have success with constitutive shRNA production and with constitutive surexpression with those vector. The fun part with those vector, is that you can modify them to make them inducible. They have a GFP marker and an ampicillin resistance. They do not have a selection marker, but tests show that you can infect 100% of the cells and keep the expression for several passages.
