Double strand cDNA sysnthesis - Using random primers (May/02/2003 )

I wish to synthesis double-strand cDNA from total RNA using RANDOM primers. What is the best kit to use. Also how can i monitor the synthesis of cDNA without using radiolabelled nucleotides?

Try Stratagene.It's difficult to check ur synthesis result in the process of synthesis.
Based on my experience,if ur RNA is good enough,go on ur synthesis until the step of ligation with vector,then u can check the amount of cDNA .
