Electroporator - which one do you recommend me? (Dec/19/2006 )

Hi,
I have to buy an electroporator and I don´t know which brand could be better. Any specifical or relevant characteristic that I should know?
I´ve read that BioRad´s is good but I would like to read your opinions and experiences.

I know only the BioRad one. Until now, I was quite happy with it....as I don't know others
What I can recommend is, that you use the cuvettes more than only one time, as they are quite expensive. (Wash with EtOH and destilled water, dry well....re-use)

I think there are two good ones...

BioRad Gene Pulser as well as the Eppendorf one. But my supervisor somehow prefer the BioRad one.
Perhaps you can check out both.
Remember to check upgrade availability. You can upgrade to become multi porator for both prokaryotic and eukaryotic. =)

we had the biorad and it was good. I havnt used any other.
