gelatin Zymogram for MMPs - (Dec/02/2006 )

Hi

I'm planning to do SDS-gelatin zymogram to study matrix metalloproteinase enzyme. If anyone did this before, how do u lyse the cells, I usually add protease inhibitor tablets to my lysis buffer which is NP-40, is that ok?. is there any specific lysis buffer to isolate MMPs
