Get rid of cell debris after transformation? - (Nov/15/2006 )

Hi folks!

After Amaxa electroporation there is a lot of cell debris (around 50% of cell die) in the cell solution which interferes with later stainings and might not be very healthy for surviving cells. Do you have an idea how to get rid of this? Maybe centrifugation is a way?! Any experiences?

Greetings Tobi

i would do a gentle centrifugation (100g for 5' to start assay) to remove cell debris.
i didn't try that method as i don't do cell electroporation but that would be my try
