GAPDH endogenous control gene - (Oct/29/2006 )

Hi all,
need help...
I find GAPDH not suitable as control for my cell line..
I am tinkin of using ACTIN.

which actin should i use? how do i retrieve the mRNA sequences?

You can use beta-actin. Also, we use L19 which works well, or you can google "housekeeping genes" to find a list of ones to try. You can search for the sequence on the NCBI website under nucleotide. Or find a paper that used that housekeeping gene and use their primer sequences.
