I don't know the volume of sample you have, but make an intermediate dilution in water so you only add 5 µL or 1µL of Dnase in your sample.
you have to dilute your RNAse 1000 times.
so if you have a 1 mL sample, just add 1µL of your RNase,
if you have 0.5 mL, dilute twice your RNase and add 1 µL of the diluted RNase...
so you don't dilute your sample.
