cDNA storage: Can we store cDNA for future use? - (Oct/20/2006 )

Dear all,

I have heared alot about storage of DNA and RNA in freezer (-20 and -70) for future use, but I have never seen any information about cDNA storage. I have made some cDNA from total RNA using " iScript cDNA synthesis kit " and I would like to know, for how long and under which condition I can store them? I am looking forward to hearing your experiences. Thanks in advanced.

cDNA is DNA which is much more stable than RNA. You can store cDNA at -20C for many years or even leave it at 4 degree for short period of time.

absolutely agree with pcrman

Thanks to both of you PCRMAN and Scolix.
