help PCR of GC rich templates - (Sep/28/2006 )

i'm trying to amplify gc rich dna. already tried with betaine and dmso, pfu/taq and the quiagen kit for such pcr's - nothing. any other ideas, please?

you may also increase elongation temp up to 75°

From my experiences, moving primers around can help amplify troublesome regions.

Try GC melt and high TM primers
