No CT only dissociation curve, is it of any help? - (Sep/17/2006 )

Becuase of stupidity of a person the data collection step was not included in one of the critical experiment. I have dissociation curve for each well 65 to 95. Can I conclude any inference with that result. The curve is straight for -ve control and for others there is peak in the end! ( and I am new to Real Time PCR)Thanks.

um, you can get no quantification from this data

but, if the peaks are smooth and single, you can conclude that your products are specific, which is a very good thing

also, if you know the expected Tm's of your products, you can determine that they are probably the correct product, which is a really really good thing
