Regeneration of plasmid preparation columns - Has anyone a protocol? (Sep/09/2006 )

Although thought as disposables, it should be possible to regenerate plasmid preparation columns in the way of Qiagen. As there are different kits, DNA binding matrices might be different. Has anyone tried and would share its protocol for column regeneration? (To avoid contamination, I will only use regenarated column for the same plasmid again...)

I remember an old methodology paper describs this, published in Biotechniques or NA Res. Couldnt find it at this point. I think they used 0.1N NaOH, then washes afterwards. Not 100% sure.
