What could happen to DNA making it uncharged - (Jul/07/2006 )

Hello,
I try to understand but i cannot : all my last PCR give me products that stay on the wells.
I have try to add SDS in order to denature proteins thinking it could be a complex DNA/protein, it doesn't change anything.
I don't thing the problem comes from the gel because the ladder migrate normally, and the loading buffer is good i have try it on plasmid.
Please help me i cannot find a solution!

instead of adding SDS, I would re-do the DNA prep. or, at the very least, phenol/chloroform/IAA your DNA to clean it up...perhaps try less template too.... and check the reagents you are adding to your PCR..
