two mouse antibodies can be stained with different secondaries? - different colors? (Jul/04/2006 )

I have this paper and can't understand it, both antibodies are mouse how did they use different secondary antibody to co-stain them? thax a lot!

maybe two different isotypes?
I never experienced that myself.

maybe a silly question...but these antibodies are raised in mouse or are reognizing mouse epitope? (regarding your exp, i believe that ab are raised in mouse).
Maybe as said by misselle maybe you have an IgG and an IgA?...

yes kathy ! misselle is right ! you can use different antibody if your primary antibodies are two different isotypes
