i have a question in tissue culture?

how to know that my cells are in confluent stage?

by numbers i mean counting?

If your tissue culture is adherent cell, then confluent is when the cells filled up the bottom of the culture flask or dish.
If your tissue culture is suspension cell, then confluent is when the medium changed to yellowish orange.
