Gradient preparation - Grandients (Jun/22/2006 )

Hi All,

Can anybody help me out. I am looking for a protocol for preparing gradients (Percoll/RediGrad), i am quite new to these things and totally lost. Can anybody suggest me how to make gradients using either of these products.

Trial and error and check the literature. Essentially, you'll set up a series of tubes with Percolland different salt osmolalities. You could try 5 tubes with 50 osmol difference in each, or try 100 osmol difference.
