How DMEM is different others? - (Jun/14/2006 )

Hi,
I have one more question...what is the direct impact of the media composition to the cells? I heart the cells in DMEM use different metabolic pathways then the cells cultured in EMEM, but I dont know which ones..when is better to use DMEM and when EMEM? I study signaling pathways of fatty acids in HepG2...thank you for replying. Kofi
