anyone heard of pEBB vector? - or where to find info? (May/13/2006 )

Hello-

I got some expression constructs from another lab and they were in the vector pEBB.

I tried to find info on google but all I found were references. Has anyone ever heard of pEBB or konw where I could find a map or sequence or something.

Thanks,

Mountainman

well there was a thread on it here

Yep - sometimes things can be a bit tricky to find wink.gif

As you must have read before, pEBB uses the pEF-BOS backbone with changes in the region of the stuffer fragment from CDM8 (subtitution).

Hope this helps:

Thanks both of you....the internet search was really dragging on till I gave up.
Always a good idea to know what you're using.

Is Addgene a good resource for vector info?

Thanks,

hi
addgene is a good source of information for plasmids. Unfortunately, it's dependant of the users submissions. I use it sometimes, in order to start my searches.
