protein concentration - (May/09/2006 )

Hi All, I have a real simple question, does the addition of reducing buffer (BME) chnage the final concentration of the protein I wish to load for SDS-PAGE? say my protein is 1000mcg/ml, take 25mcl of this and 25mcl reducing BME?

it changes the concentration ofthe protein, but the relevant point in a SDS PAGE is the quantity of protein (in mg/µg) you load on your gel.
