May be the person invented this assay...... has a girlfriend's name Elisa..... may be tongue.gif

HI,
the name ELISA indicates the description of the assay in which HRP enzyme is linked to antibody. coming sorbant part

SARBENT means - To take up and hold, as by absorption or adsorption. hence, they have not used absorption or adsorption rather SORBENT.

made any sense?
payeli.

just to be nitpicking:

"fΓΌr Elise" (or "pour Elise"), composed 1810 (roughly 200 years ago), but well, Beethoven is correct! biggrin.gif
