If digestion is not adequate, can I recycle the gel bands and digest again?
Is it a wise way?

you should be able to continue digestion in the same tube as you did the initial reaction, just add some more RE if you have stopped it. However, if you ran the whole lot out, you should be able to isolate the digested band and use that, provided the extraction is clean enough to use in subsequent reactions. It always pays to check if the digest has worked, before running the whole lot out.
