Difference in strains - (Apr/28/2006 )

Whats the use of using different strains. Actally whts the difference between BL21 (DE3),
BL21 CODON PLUS, BL21 LYSIS, BL21 GOLD DE3. TB1
May be i am wrong about their name but whats the difference between them

I would go find a website that sells those strains (I think most of them can be found at Novagen) and look up the specifications...that will be the best way to understand and get the details
