taqman assays and linreg - (Apr/04/2006 )

Dear all,

Is there anyone out there who is doing Taqman assays and successfully using LinReg analysis tool for analysis?

I do one-step Taqman qRT-PCR assays on the Opticon-2. But, when I export raw data into LinReg tool all data points are negative and an error message appears "Invalid floating point operation". Has anyone experienced this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

I once tried LinReg and was faced with a similar problem. The decimal fractions in my LightCycler raw data was seperated with a decimal point instead of a comma (what my spread sheat uses). And the other time this problem appeared was with negative controls, that showed no amplification. These must be excluded from your data.
